Tasting Notes
Spicy clove, subtle leather and bright red fruits on the nose followed by a fresh dose of raspberry on the palate and rich tannins. This wine will hold bright flavors for years to come.
Vineyard Notes
Sourced from the Circle S Vineyard in San Benito County, this Brunello clone of Sangiovese is planted in Cropley, San Benito/Series (Clay loam) soils. Vine age ranges from 10 to 15 years old.
Winemaker Notes
This is the most widely planted variety in Italy. Also THE grape of central Italy. Our job is to respect this varietal and do the best job we can at keeping this wine varietally correct.
