Sourced from the Hearthstone Vineyard in the Adelaida District of Paso Robles, this Rodino clone of Sangiovese is planted in limestone shale soils.
Winemaker Notes
This is the most widely planted variety in Italy. Also THE grape of central Italy. Our job is to respect this varietal and do the best job we can at keeping this wine varietally correct. Sangiovese characteristics depend heavily on there surroundings and we aim to show you just that in every vintage and different locations we source from.
